Platform role

Ardenescape connects hosts and travellers. Accounts, listings and requests are free, without subscription or commission. It does not process stay payments. The host supplies the accommodation; price, payment, cancellation and stay arrangements are agreed with the host. This does not remove the platform’s statutory responsibilities.

Requests are not bookings

Sending or accepting a request is not a booking confirmed by Ardenescape. Confirm availability, total price, extras and terms with the host. Direct agreements you make can nevertheless have legal effects.

Host responsibilities

Hosts must be entitled to offer the stay and provide accurate capacity, amenities, costs, rules, access and availability. They are responsible for applicable registration, permits, fire safety, insurance and consumer requirements. “Verified stay” means listing review only, not identity, safety or permit certification or an on-site inspection.

Nature Spots

Landowner permission alone does not generally authorise overnight guest camping. Check parcel-specific tourism, planning, environmental and nature requirements, including where stays are paid outside the platform. Forests, protected areas and Natura 2000 have additional rules. Seek advance confirmation from the municipality, DNF and competent tourism authority if uncertain. Do not offer land without required permissions, and report relevant changes to management.

Safety and respectful use

Respect capacity, access, sanitation, waste rules, fire bans and local restrictions. A Nature Spot does not authorise wild camping elsewhere. Confirm practical and safety information with the host. Nature, snow and weather information may be modelled or forecast and does not replace local safety advice.

Content and misuse

Do not post false, unlawful or misleading listings/reviews. Only publish text/photos you have the rights and valid grounds to use. Do not publish others’ private information or misuse contacts for unsolicited advertising. Conversations must concern the request, not fraud, harassment or spam.

Moderation and reporting

Management reviews listings before publication; AI may advise on text, not legal compliance. Suspected abuse may lead to investigation, rejection or removal. A clear electronic illegal-content reporting process, acknowledgement, reasons and appeal information with a reachable contact remains outstanding. These terms do not resolve that gap.

Statutory rights

Mandatory consumer rights and statutory liability are not excluded. Operator identity, contacts and applicable platform duties still require legal confirmation.
